ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Paoli House Gallery is pleased to welcome the return of Vicente Caro, Scott Davidson, Christian Grooms, Joseph Pfeifer and David Rozelle, for an exhibition entitled:  Wondrous Strange!

This exhibition will consist of paintings, photographs, works on paper and poetry.  The show will unite colleagues and long-time friends for their second exhibition at Paoli House Gallery. 

VICENTE A. CARO, born in 1971, emigrated to the U.S. in 1982 from the Philippines.  He currently lives and works in Minneapolis, MN.  He received his MFA from Vermont College of Norwich University (now known as The Union Institute) in 2001.  SCOTT DAVIDSON, born in 1971, was raised in New York City and currently lives and works there.  He received his MFA from Parsons School of Design, New School University, NYC in 2003.  CHRISTIAN A. GROOMS, born in 1971 in Madison, WI currently lives and works in Paoli, WI and NYC. He received his MFA from Parsons School of Design, New School University, NYC in 2002.  JOSEPH PFEIFER, born in 1975 in Baltimore, MD currently lives and works in NYC.  He received his MFA from Parsons School of Design, New School University, NYC in 2003.  Many of the visual works in this exhibition are directly inspired by the poetry of DAVID ROZELLE of Spring Green WI.

Caro, Davidson, Grooms, Pfeifer and Rozelle will be present at the artists’ reception on Friday, August 6, 2010, from 5 – 9.  The exhibition will be on display until September 19th, 2010.
