Paoli House Gallery would like to announce an exhibition featuring a diverse collection of fine art prints from 14 local artists in Andrew Balkin's AGB Graphics Workshop.
Ink Spots is the first all fine art print exhibition at Paoli House Gallery. This exhibition features 14 printmakers: Ann Fischer Athas, Andrew Balkin, Jack Dennis, Lester Dore, Twyla Gettert, Victoria Lind, Christian A. Grooms, Ken Opin, Mary Prisland, Michael Sanders, Carl S. Sanger, Betsy Strand, Eleanor Reynolds, and Suzanne VanGalder. All of the artists have collaborated with Master Printer Andrew Balkin, at AGB Graphics Workshop, to create a diverse group of prints that utilize traditional and innovative printing techniques. On view are framed prints on paper ranging from drypoint, hardground, softground, aquatint, liftground, to monotype. Also on view, a Wisconsin Sesquicentennial portfolio of fine art prints, published by Andrew Balkin Editions. Wisconsin's Sesquicentennial was celebrated with this print portfolio of 15 artists' work, including: Andrew Balkin, Nancy Ekholm Burkert, Warrington Colescott, Michelle Grabner, Susan Hunt-Wolkowicz, Martin Levine, Munio Makuuchi, Frances Myers, Bruce Nauman, Gladys Nilsson, Ed Paschke, Fred Stonehouse, Tom Uttech, John Wilde and William Wiley.
